To properly celebrate the creation of YourGuild.wowstead.com we are hosting a User Submitted Skin Contest. You heard me right... a contest. This is the fist notice of this contest to get you all to get your thinking caps on and getting those creative juices flowing.

Some details of this contest are:

  • Must be a full skin, no partials.
  • Must not be a theme of one already existing.
  • Must be World of Warcraft related.
  • Must be usable by any guild.
  • Must be Primary Browser capatible (IE8, Firefox, and Web Kit)
  • Must follow Blizzard and WowStead's ToS and EULA

Skins must follow the basic YourGuild Submitted skins rules, which can be found here [LINK].

Okay folks, because of the Holidays coming up for us in the States and since I have a bit of school work left to do I have extended the deadline for submissions until the 30 of November.   That's 10 more days!  This will be the final extension.

You can now submit your skins.  Please use the follow form to submit it [LINK].  Only entries that are submitted through this form will be accepted for the contest.  Also adding to the 20th for submissions to be submitted instead of the 18th.  Please get them in.

The first phase in our new language system is now live, opening the option for custom language entries in the admin panel!

You'll notice a new "Custom Language" option in the admin panel.  This will allow you to modify all of the text found on your guild sites.  It's not fully implemented just yet, but it should be late tomorrow.  For now, 90% of it is there, and any missing content will be added tomorrow.

Auto-saving has been added to the forum post editor. When you are posting the editor will save what you are writing every 30 seconds automatically. A new button has been added which will restore your last save.

Contest Submission are planned to be opened on November 01, 2009 and closed on November 18, 2009.  This means will will start accepting your skin submission on the 1st of November and won't accept any more submission on 12:01 am CST on November 19th.  This is over two and a half weeks to get them finished.  Shortly there after voting will be opened.
